I was initially quite apprehensive about trying new treatments, especially after my challenging experience with progesterone. After my partner passed away I ate my grief. Not only did I over eat but the foods I ate were not healthy choices. Fast food, high in trans fats and processed. It was like was trying to kill myself with food. This was not my norm.  At around the 2 yr mark I noticed that I had gained close to 50 lbs.

When I tried to lose the weigh through all the traditional weight loss programs I would have a modicum of success but it wouldn’t last and it was a struggle. For the next 9 months, I met with the Nurse Practitioner on a scheduled date to review my blood work and see how the program was working.
